Yosemite National Park

Everyone has that one place, their own happy place. For some that might very well be Disneyland but for me it is and has always been Yosemite National Park.

The first time I went there was four years ago, we were there for a couple of days. The first day we went up to Vernal falls which was going to be our only hike up high. The next day we planned to go down to the Mariposa Grove and explore Glacier Point but due to there being a lot of snow we decided to do a hike up the Yosemite falls. And boy was I happy we made that decision.

It was the most spectacular experience, the views are absolutely stunning. A tip is to go in the middle of the week as you will pretty much have the top to yourself. There’s nothing worse than having a bunch of people ruin your moment up there. Being at the top of the Upper Yosemite falls you really start to think of how small we really are in this world and how much more there is out there to explore.  Although I have to say my pictures from then were nothing to cheer about 😉

This year I went with a better camera and much more knowledge on what to do and what different settings to have to acieve certain types of pictures. So here are a few that I would like to share.
